Dianne Hayward, MS, EdM,MAC

Dianne Hayward is known as the Prevention Lady. She has been involved in the substance abuse field since 1987. Her experience spans inpatient and outpatient counseling, prevention specialist for several military bases, educator, trainer and interventions. The last 15 years she has been working with an evidence based prevention for the lifespan program (PRIME for Life) as a trainer and facilitator. She has worked in Sweden, Germany, Okinawa and all over the United States. Her audiences have included military members, professional groups, families, and groups being trained as instructors in the Prime for Life program. She is passionate about PFL because, “This program saves lives and all adults would benefit whether they drink or use or not.” She has experienced the powerful impact of this program on both clients and professionals who have had the chance to experience it. She is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher who loves her work.
